Hi.
I am a new cakes decor member. I’m just about to start selling my cakes from home. I’m very nervous and new to all this so I’m hoping to get some tips from all you lovely cakey people 😊 x

Welcome… you are entering the fun-filled world of cakes… It will give you many hours of satisfaction, a few heart attacks, lots of gray hairs and a huge sense of accomplishment when all is said and done! CakesDecor is an excellent source of information and all of us are always wiling to share our knowledge. My one bit of advice is to figure out early on how much it costs you to make your cakes – including the time YOU spend making decorations and finishing up the cakes. Establish a fair price and go from there – you don’t want clients to come to you because they can get a bargain! Best of luck!
