I`m in the middle of making a horse cake and I`ve used modelling choc to cover and shape the legs. I had every intention of covering the whole cake with modelling choc but just realised I haven`t made enough! So I`m going to cover with fondant instead….but will it be ok to cover the modelling choc with thin layer of fondant so the legs blend with the body? Or should I mix the remaining choc I have with fondant and just cover the body. I`m hoping to airbrush it later. In fact, can you airbrush modelling choc?
I`m winging it as you may tell! Thanks for any advice xx

Yes, it should be fine. Ive been meaning to try a 50/50 fondant, mod choc mix for my modelling. Dont know about airbrushing mod choc though…..
