Hello!
Hi, I’m new to the forum ( d’oh) and would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I’m the owner of a wedding and celebration cake business, Fabulously Floral Cakes…the name says it all.
I’ve been making cakes for friends and family for eons, and was finally convinced to take the plunge and set up the business as a second career, now my children are ready to leave the nest. In what seems like a previous life I was a solicitor, but am now very pleased to have a creative outlet!
I love interactions with clients and interpreting their ideas, but above all I adore making sugar flowers. a day without making one is a day lost.
I’m looking forward to taking part and to meeting you all.

Bless you Christine, sometimes my dyslexia gets the better of me! I’m sure you find making sugar flowers rewarding, it’s so wonderful to be able to recreate flowers in such an odd medium ( when you come to think of it!) x
