Hello from Sarah @ cakesbysarahtosney tosney , mum of 6 beautiful children aged from 2 to 19 , 5 boys & my little missy , married to Ste for 21 years .living in leeds , uk , I love all things crafty & handmade & gardening
I’ve worked in the food / bakery industry all my life in between maternity breaks but gave up work after I damaged my pelvis & became a stay at home mum , i became interested in decorating to make my kids nice birthday cakes & decorated my1st cake 2 years ago for my son & was instantly hooked , with a lot of encouragement from friends I started a page on facebook where , more & more people were asking me to make cakes so I registered my business & here I am … Under a cloud of icing sugar with a two year old hanging off my leg doing what I love , I’ve made lots of new friends & been met with nothing but kindness from fellow bakers & I’m learning something new everyday … Like not to leave a tub of silver balls in reach of a 2 yr old ha ha x

Thank you so much everyone & hello , it is difficult to get the balance right but I do find cakes to be my escape from the mum stuff & I am lucky to be able to be here for my children everyday … Although I’m constantly juggling & Selma no matter how many kids you’ve got ( apart from the mass washing , cleaning etc ) if they’re not co operating it’s a struggle , I sometimes find having a few kids at home can be easier than 1 xx
