If you click the actual pictures in top 15, you will see the number of “views” received. They proceed from the most views onward. 1st there right now has 556, 2nd 320, 3rd 261………

i think all the factors counts =- views shares, faves, comments .. etc – I’ve also noticed :) not that I even can really say how the 4-15 is ranked atm as it’s different on all devices I use ! I can’t really understand why Pauline’s cake isn’t up there – but hey – who know – maybe Michal can explain how the ranking works – oh and Daantje :)

I noticed that this morning and I already sent a private message to Michal… I noticed that some cakes should be in Top 3 and they are not and I took some screen shots of their pages to show Michal… Hope Michal is checking this!!

For example, check Nadia’s cake (Chokolate) and Pauline’s cake… They both have more views, more comments, and more favorites than the Top 3…. Not that I am saying that the top 3 should not be there, they totally deserve it and I’ve even faved them but I think, something is “stuck” and is not allowing other cakes to move forward!!

Not only me then… It’s not for my own sake, I’m not even baking at the mo, just seemed strange. Felt like I had finally got to grips with the way it was! Ha. Doesn’t take much to confuse me ;)

Hey all. The formula is much more sophisticated than simple comparing the number of views. As AWG Hobby Cakes said – all factors counts, some of them have higher value than the other one. We are still evaluating the formula to achieve the fairest rankings system.

I just think that there should be much more weight with faves though ? Pauline and Daantje’s cakes are clearly big faves – and Nadia ‘s but not sure how it works .. i’ve also yesterday noticed cakes on 1,2,3,4 that was more than 24 hours ?

Has the formula changed with the revamp Michal?
