Lucy I have no doubt you have this in you and can honestly say ruffles are everyone best friend. Your fondant work underneath does not have to be perfect as no one sees it and well ruffles are not perfect either so there is no right or wrong with them . Give it a try I think you will amaze your self. The cake was a huge hit! Everyone loved the detail you put into it and the sailboat was a nice touch! The ruffles that you made to look like waves in the teal were beautiful and went with the birthday decor very nicely. Did I mention that it was ohh so delicious!? We all enjoyed the chocolate cake with the taste of Girl Scout thin mint. Great idea!!!

Thanks again Sharon! I look forward to all of our friend’s birthdays knowing you will be in charge of the cakes!
