World Art Day is an international celebration, designed by the International Association of Art (IAA), in order to promote awareness of creative activity worldwide.
April 15 was chosen in honor of Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday, who is considered a symbol of multiculturalism, free expression, world peace, tolerance, and visionary in the world of arts.
Events on this day can vary from special museum hours to conferences and many more activities.
