Missing Everyone

Just wanted to let everyone know that I’ve missed seeing your work for the last few months. I stop making cakes during the summer to help run my family’s farm so not much time for caking when you’re working 14 hours a day 6 days a week in almost 100 degree weather. I know you guys have turned out some awesome cakes…just hadn’t had time to see them. I hope to get back to the cake world in September…keep on baking you lovely ladies and gents.

Sounds like you’ve had more than enought to do Angel x
And trying to make cakes in those conditions is just toooooo much!
I’ve made a cake this week in high humidity, and in England that doesn’t happen too often………OMG!
RESPECT to those who do it for a living!!
Don’t work too hard.
Keep dropping by and looking forward to seeing you’re work again soon.

Angel, this site has become so large it sometimes takes awhile to realize someone is missing. Farm work is back breaking work, I am guessing you will be relieved to get back to caking. See you in September, take care!

I’ve worked on farms, vegetables, fruit picking , dairy cows …milked with electric hand milker, horses…mucked the stalls…fun (not)…so I have great respect for all types of farming. Hard work, especially in the heat. Caking will seem a dream come fall!!! Take care of yourself Angel….As the song says…See you in September…

There are only so many hours in the day AR. It’s tough to fit in caking at the best of times but not when you’re so busy. I look forward to seeing your creations again come September. xx

Hi, sweet Angel! I remember farming in 100 degree heat! Mike and I have been building two small houses 8′ × 12′ and we have just about died! Can’t wait to see more of your great designs this fall!
