Hi everyone,
How are your all doing? It’s been a really long while since I’ve been able to catch up with my friends in the cake world, I just came on today on a whim, and saw so many familiar id’s on the birds collection that I really felt like posting. I’ve missed seeing your lovely spirits through your posts! Facebook (i shudder just typing the name now) was showing me so little of you and bombarding me with people I don’t know, posts I don’t care about, and attitudes & opinions I’d really rather not have heard, that I found it all too toxic an influence to bear. I’ve been going through an extended difficult period for personal reasons and I just needed – and still need – some time away.
So, while I’m still hibernating I won’t be posting much anywhere, I have made a few cakes pretty much nobody had seen yet online, but it hardly seems fair to post them while I won’t be keeping up to date with all your lovely creations too. I have been making a few YouTube videos, I’m finding those quite therapeutic, so there’s some new stuff there… I might start posting the links in tutorials occasionally if people would like to see them. I only shared one of them via instagram & not even that for the rest. To my friends from way back, if u want to say hi please drop me an email, I’d love to hear from u <3 love u all, and thank you all for your support <3 <3 (and sorry if you’ve contacted me on fb and I haven’t seen it, I’m still hoping fb hq spontaneously combusts in the immediate future)

Hi Sawsen, I’ve been wondering what happened to you sweetie! Yes, I agree that FB is not the same as it used to be. Always changing, but not in a good way. So sorry that you have been going through a difficult period! Hope things work out for you lovely!

Hi Toni! Yes I kind of disappeared, I tend to introvert in difficulty and only open up again once it’s over – I know that must be frustrating for my friends not knowing what’s going on, but it’s what I need to do to cope. I can’t promise I’ll stay around any time I do resurface too, if things go downhill…. I hope enough can understand. So lovely to talk to you again :)

Hi Sawsen, just waving you to say hi here…btw I understand your situation… I also not so much active as before just not because of what but because now I’m bit busy with my kids as now I have 2 kids around and also need to take care house stuff.
