Introducing myself

Hi everyone.

After several years of making cakes for my children’s Birthdays, friends and even their friends began to ask for my creations. It took me years to gain the confidence to do what people had been telling me I should be doing, but eventually, In September 2013 I had a moment and went for it. So, here I am. Tiggy’s Little Cake Factory.

My name is Tiggy. (Well actually it’s not, but I never answer to my given name!) I am a Mum of five children (who thankfully, all still get totally excited by a cake) and wife to very understanding husband (who thankfully thinks nothing of a supermarket run at 2am when I need just one more egg!)

We all live in Berkshire, UK and I create all of my work from our home. I have always enjoyed arty things but never once thought I would apply it to cake or even make cakes for anything other than eating myself so although it’s taken time to get here, I’m really enjoying learning new things and testing myself along the way.

There are so many talented people out there and I love seeing all of the amazing creations here so thank you all for sharing them.
