Cake Decorating

Home after major surgery

I am back home after having a knee replacement and the worst thing about this is not being able to get on with any cake decorating. I am going to be out of action for some time, but looking at your beautiful work is keeping me going. This page will stem the boredom of being confined to home (no driving for six weeks) and will stop me going stir crazy. I am hoping for lots of inspiration for when I pick up the sugarpaste in a few months, so keep them coming.

All of my love for a speedy recovery Roo. I know what it is like to be out of action and recovering – I had an ankle reconstruction last year and it wiped me out for 3 months and I really did miss my cakes but I have to say the break brought me so much passion and inspiration and ideas as soon as I returned to it. All the best to you too Bev. This recovery business is hard work but there is such a lovely community here all wishing you lots and lots of cake love x
