Apologies for 2015.....and thank you for the therapy...
Having not had time to look at Cakesdecor since new year and desperately looking at everything I’ve missed, I realise this is unlikely to be the only time this year that this will happen :(
So – in advance – I’m apologising to all the amazing people I follow for the times I will miss commenting on your creations in a timely way. That said, as always, the real loss is mine.
Every time I come back it’s like being bathed in therapy as I get to immerse myself in beautiful pictures of cakes, inspiring tutorials and the overwhelming positivity of this site. I think it’s unique in terms of the wonderful support and encouragement that abounds – and absolutely no unkind or thoughtless comments.
Cakesdecor is definitely the place to visit to reinforce your belief in human nature – maybe it should be available on prescription or as a new alternative therapy :-)
So – sorry when I don’t seem to notice, thank you for still being here, and may Cakesdecor live long and prosper as my “go to place” and recreational drug of choice xx

Hi Judy, ive also not been able to get on as much lately. But, I agree cakes decor is my therapy and I know this is just the beginning of the biggest, best cake site in the world ;-))

I totally understand Judy!!! There were a few months last year when I was really busy and had to decrease the time I spent on the internet!!! Will be happy to ‘see’ you around when you have some time!!!!

Totally understand as the ladies above have said we all have times when we are so busy with other things and to come on here its as if we are in another world. Such happy and positive peeps its such a lovely place to be part of. :) xxxx
We all lead such busy lives outside of cakes, so there is an ebb and flow with us all in Cakes Decor from time to time as life’s distractions take priority …. always loads of support here for everyone.

I’m always somewhat amazed that having retired early about 5 years ago I have absolutely no idea how I ever managed to find the time to work! At least I am blessed with the gift of choice about where I spend my time and have some lovely voluntary projects on the go x
