I have always been frustrated with letter cutters, especially the Tappits! I never can get them to come out nicely. My favorite letters are done with the Martha Stewart silicone mold. I use them all the time. Just push in the fondant, put in freezer for a few minutes, and they pop out perfect. They used to sell them at Michaels, but I think they discontinued them. They still have them on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Martha-Stewart-Crafts-Silicon-Alphabet/dp/B007IQWT6W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1421109106&sr=8-1&keywords=Martha+Stewart+silicone+letter+mold
Here is a picture of what they look like.

I like the fmm tappits and the letters from jbcookiecutters. I’m always looking for new cutters too!

I quite like tappits but I know some hate them. I too like the Martha Stewart mould, just wish it had numbers too….

Oh yes Mel, that is my only complaint about the Martha Stewart mold. I too wish it had numbers.

I have the martha Stewart mold! I love it but I agree it needs numbers! I have the tappits. I’m still trying to figure out how to use them lol

Isn’t it funny that I love tappits! I’m sure you’re doing everything ‘right’ but if you need any tips let me know!

I like Tappits too, just need a bit of patience with them.

I love Windsor Clikstix. They’re much easier to get the letters out of, and there’s a few fonts now.

The Jem letter set is quite good too :-)

I use tappits (or individual cutters) as could not get used to the mold one, but do like it, as its deep as well. I also pipe (not very well) the writing on… So stick to tappits.

You must never limit your challenges, instead you must challenge your limits

Hmmmm….I’ve never seen Martha Stewart moulded letters. Shopped at Michael’s for years, and never saw them. But the Canadian Michael’s didn’t and doesn’t always carry the same merchandise as the American counterpart. Going to ck them out…. I found great large number cutters…where?? Local Dollar store, believe it or not. I check there regularly, surprising what cakey stuff you can find. ❤️
