Introducing Cake Decor in Cairns

Well Hi my name is Naomi A.K.A. Cairns Cake Lady.

I am from Australia, have 2 rugrats and I like cake :)

I am still new to Cakes Decor and only just started working out how to actually use it!
When I created my facebook page “Cake Decor in Cairns” I had absolutely no idea about you all in cake world! I didn’t even know “cakes decor” existed, so I was little embarrassed when I realised but it was too late to change my name.

My lil page was created just for fun with my local friends, but amazingly (yes I amaze myself haha) it has grown and I have expanded into blogging.

I love exploring and experimenting with cake decorating, I still consider myself a beginner, and I still fight with covering cakes in fondant – everytime!!

So at the moment I’m on fondant strike and have been covering my cakes in coloured ganache ♡
