Stepping back
Hello dear cake friends. I have been on this wonderful forum for many years, always inspired by so many of you.
However, due to an on going knee problem I have decided to semi retire to make sure I have the time to recover from the operation. Know idea as yet when that will happen.!!
I will still post the odd cake for my friends and family, but taken the stress away from wedding cakes and constant orders.

You have to do whatever it takes to stay healthy. As a former psw, I took care of lots of post surgical patients. Knee, hip replacements, and more. I know the importance of rest and rehabilitation. Most especially not standing for great lengths of time, putting undue pressure on the knee joint. Best of luck with the upcoming surgery. Hope to see your creations after some healing time. 🥰🥰

I'm sorry to hear about your knee problem, but I think it's great that you're taking steps to take care of yourself and prioritize your health. It's important to listen to your body and do what's best for you.
I'm sure your friends and family will continue to be thrilled with the cakes you create for them, even if you're not taking on as many orders. And who knows, maybe with a little more time and less stress, you'll find new inspiration and creative ideas for your future cake creations.
