Gumpaste Pierrot
A cake topper for my daughters birthday cake. As a child she collected Pierrot everything so she was excited when she saw this all these years later.

Melissa had a large collection of Pierrot and her name in Greek means Honeybee, so I added some bees to the cake and a honeycomb pattern fondant. I had her come pick the cake up to take to her job. When she saw the head peeking over the edge of the box she squealed “My Pierrot!”

Thank you Elli. The collar makes me laugh. Daughter Melissa had given me a plastic Chinese Pot Sticker mold, that is what I used for the ruffles on his collar.
