How to become a member of a collaboration ?
Dear cake designers, I am relatively new in this industry and would like to ask for some advice. I am keep seeing many awesome work of cake artists around the world that are connected by a certain theme and form a collaboration, how does it work? If I want to create something unusual like that how do I get in touch with these organizers? How do select the cake artists to become a part of it?
I have been working with clients for more than two years, and just love creating something where I am not restrained by the size or the budget of customers…. love to have an opportunity to make something outrageous and super fun)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Rose most collaborations are secret until they are revealed. The person heading up the collaboration asks people to join them. They use Facebook and have a secret group to communicate. There is a group on Facebook that hosts a lot of collaborations https://www.facebook.com/groups/CPCcollab/
You could also just start your own collaboration by coming up with a theme, pick cake artists to join you, and pick a reveal date.

Oooo…would also like to join in a collaboration one day. Soo busy working though most of the time that I never get to mingle with all you awesome decorators. Social media is so hard to keep up with, never mind admin. do not know how you do it all!!
