Hello! From Giada Cake Art

hello! I am an art teacher who a few months ago (yes, just a few months ago), decided to have fun with fondant and with cakes. And, now, I am in love with the marvelous cake art ! I made only three cakes, yep only three cakes, but, surprisingly, the cakes came out just right and fueled my persistence and my passion for this amazing art. I was born and raised in Italy, but in 1999 I moved to the U.S. Cake art is more than a hobby, it is a form of art that I cannot stop exploring.
I experimented with many many art mediums and I was part of many groups (architects, painters, art teachers ). The cake art community is different! In just a couple of months I met gazillion of kind, unselfish, satisfied , talented artists who became my friends. who did not judge me by the design or by the amount of cakes I made. Who welcomed me , immediately, in their world! Who are not working toward notoriety, or toward money, but toward creativity! I love you , guys! You are the best!
