Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone has a recipe they’d be willing to share that utilizes caramelized hazelnuts? I purchased a bag of them on sale & now I’m not sure what to do with them. They are chopped nuts, not whole ones. I figure I could simply sprinkle them as a topping but was hoping to find a recipe that really show cases them if that makes sense.
Thanks in advance for your time,
Kelly

Maybe try some hazelnut praline? Add some chocolate to the hazelnut praline and have your own nutella topping :)

They would be delicious added to a “white chocolate bark” for cake decoration…

You can stir them into cake batter to make a lovely hazelnut cake or mix them with buttercream to make a nice buttercream hazelnut filling for your cakes or to ice cupcakes. Also, you could make chocolate spoons and put a little heap of the nuts in the spoon and top with a little salted caramel (melt caramel candies and add sea salt).

Thank you all for the ideas. I will start experimenting soon & let you know the outcome :-)
