Advice on making edible Lego figures

Hi! I’m new to the site and excited to be here! I can’t wait to start posting my pictures :-)
I do need your help, though…
I am working on a cake order that’s coming up and am wondering if there is an easier way to make edible Lego figures. The theme is Star Wars Legos and it’s for a 7yr old boy’s birthday. The mom said she has some Legos we can add to the cake, but I really try to make everything edible and just can’t bare not to at least try to make them. I am familiar with making little figures, but there are so many details on these particular little figures that I just don’t know where to start! Has anyone ever made these before or have any advice on a more practical approach?

I know that Way Beyond Cakes by Mayen did a Lego Ninjago cake and I think she used molds for the lego figure then made the accessories. I don’t know where I saw the post but I know I saw one of molds for the bodies somewhere. I would contact her and see if she has any advice. I myself have never done legos. So I am sorry that I can’t actually help you with it. Good luck though!!!

She used a lego ice pop mold. There are also ice cube molds for the mini figure that are quite small too. There is also a lady on facebook marizpan doll who made a lego mini figure mold as well. Here is the facebook link https://www.facebook.com/Marzipandoll?ref=ts

I used a discontinued mold I got on eBay for the minifigures on this cake. You can add the Star Wars details to the minifigs pretty easily.

Thank you all so much for your help! I ended up buying the molds on Amazon and the turning them into Star Wars characters. I had a blast and definitely learned a lot! I posted a picture on my page if you are interested! Thanks again for the help! I really appreciate it :-)
