I made my very first mold for this cake (the green Lego plates on the top tier) and it was so fun. Giant Legos on top I made from candy melts, the top tier is covered in a fondant/gumpaste mix and the rest of the details are fondant. While the top tier was supposed to be cake, I have to be honest and say that my cake was just too moist to hold that shape well. I should have used a different recipe. So at the last minute I used a cake dummy and threw together some cupcakes.
