I would like to introduce myself to this wonderful community!

I used to be a microbiologist, and kept doing that for 14 years, but my passion for food, specially cakes and desserts, was bigger and I’m now invested in improving day by day so I can turn the cakes into a memory and a special moment for people.

Thank you guys! If you take a closer look, actually it’s not that different. I use the same methodology and organization for both careers. To do a cake, you need to to do a lot of research and run some tests until you can do an actual cake. And the contamination paranoia, typical of microbiologists, can do no harm in a kitchen environment! :)

Ha Ha….a man after my own heart!!! I’m a total clean freak…especially when preparing, baking and decorating my cakes. I have leftover gowns, gloves and masks from my nursing days…but don’t don them…don’t go quite that far!!
