New to CakeDecor family!

Hello from northern Indiana where the weather is so unpredictable you plan for all four seasons for every outdoor event!! Lol! I started decorating cakes when I first made my daughter’s wedding cake out of a need to save money. I had never taken a class and just watched videos and read all I could get my hands on at the library. After that first cake it was several years before I decided to enter the decorating competitions at our local fair and took Best of Show that very first year. I won Best of Show in decorating and baking a couple of more times and started doing cakes for friends and family. It has snowballed into a small business with a booth at our local farmer’s market, I have a Facebook page, Sugar Bliss by Chris, to keep everyone current with my cake activities. Since I care for my elderly aunt, I limit my decorating around her needs and manage to keep pretty busy! I have 3 adult kids, two are married and our son is a junior in high school. I have a large garden and backyard hens for eggs and entertainment! I look forward to learning more from CakesDecor family members!!!
