In case you haven’t heard of this travesty yet in your little corner of the world:
I’m sure Marjorie Silva, owner of Azucar Bakery – https://www.facebook.com/AzucarBakery would love if you stopped by her Facebook page and offered her some words of encouragement.
Jenniffer White, Cup a Dee Cakes - http://cupadeecakes.blogspot.com
I couldn’t believe it when I read this article! She definitely did the right thing.. Cakes are meant to bring and spread joy.. To help celebrate one another.. Not to spread hate
Amanda Bowman
Couldn’t agree more.
Good for her! Of course she is right to refuse to spread hatred.

So what happened to her rights…. Sheesh!!!!! Good for her, for standing her ground and not promoting hurtful bigots!!
You must never limit your challenges, instead you must challenge your limits
I’m thankful that in the UK there are laws against inciting racial hatred so 1) it would be unlawful to request such words and 2) no-one could be sued for refusing.

Oh wow. She wasn’t refusing to make the cake and was even going to provide the tools for the client to put the words on. No one should make a cake that goes against their beliefs or moral convictions. I think even the other decorate has a right to refuse to take on “same sex” wedding cakes, a little different as in that case the cake wasn’t “anti” any one, just a cake and that’s what cake decorators do…. what a sad case.

Omgosh , I would have done the same! Good for her!!
