I have a Canon (wireless) and it’s been excellent. I bought the printer, cartridges and a pack of icing sheets as a bundle which was very good value.

I have had 2 Epsons and one Canon – I definitely recommend the Canon. I think the real trick with edible image printers is using them. I print a page with all the colors on it every week. If left unused, the special edible inks will tend to gunk up the jets.

I also have the Canon wireless… I don’t use it regularly therefor I don’t seem to get the best from my cartridges.. As they dry up … I guess if you are using it daily it will pay for itself.

I would suggest you try and see what edible cartridges are available for you locally and they will give you an idea of machine to use. No help in buying printer but not being able to get the ink. I went with a low end Canon one which was on salw but was compatible with the latest cartridges. Also wireless Good luck!

I have a Canon and it’s good

I have the Canon Pixma. It’s their regular $65 color printer and exactly the same as their $220 edible ink printer. All you have to do is swap out the regular ink cartridges for edible ink cartridges. I got mine on Amazon and here’s the link:

Hopefully this can save you some $$$ as the replacement cartridges are expensive and do dry out quickly.
