London Cake Crawl

Hi all, This Saturday I am taking my niece to London for the day as a belated Christmas present. She loves cakes too, so we are going on a little cake crawl of the capital. We are arriving at Euston in the morning and will have the day to visit some of the more famous cake places. Peggy Porschen’s Parlour is definitely on the list, but can any of you who are familiar with the capital, or have done a similar trip, offer any advice please. We are going to try and make our route as time saving as possible, so any advice on this would also be greatly appreciated. Needless to say, we are so excited and hope to bring a lovely selection of goodies home to taste test with the family.

Many thanks all xx

Choccy Wocca do da London shop – not too far from Oxford Circus?

Primrose bakery in Covent Garden, Beas of Bloomsbury, Lola’s, Crumbs & Doilies Cupcakes & Hummingbird Bakery. If you google cake crawl in London there are several blogs that you can read x

Little Venice Cake Company is another… Mich Turner. For more info go to https://www.lvcc.co.uk

You must never limit your challenges, instead you must challenge your limits

Also, if your looking to take cake home with you from Peggy’s cake parlour, then I would recommend buying a slice of cake rather than a cupcake, they are £1 more but you will stand more chance of getting it home in one piece, unfortunately delicious as they are, some of her cupcakes flavours do not travel well, so avoid trying to take home the Chocolate Heaven & the Strawberry & cream cupcakes.

Thanks for your help everyone. Have been googling away and lots of ideas. Bea’s sounds a real favourite with lots of people, wish we could get to them all.

To have to go to Beas of Bloomsbury for afternoon tea, you won’t be an,e to eat it all but they give you a lovely ‘doggy bag’ so you can take it home x
