Elizabeth Miles Cake Design (Elizabeth Miles)

Hi Most people call me Lizzie but I used my full name for my home cake decorating business because I thought it sounded a bit more Posh! I started cake decorating because I had a small budget for my wedding so made my own cake, then my best mates wedding cake and so on. I am 38 and have been married for 10 years in August to hubby Lee (4 and a half years my junior) and have 2 beautiful daughters Matilda aka Tilly just turned 7 and Tabitha aka Tabby just turned 4, both sometimes called ‘Tibby’ after a late night cake decorating. As well as cake decorating I do a bit of face painting at parties and events and I also have a huge collection of fancy dress clothes mostly children’s which I also hire out. I also occasionally have a stall where I sell vintage retro items as I love to hunt for lovely things at car boots and in charity shops. I also really love dancing but don’t often get a chance mostly at wedding discos these days, I used to do ballet tap and Jazz as a kid and taught Tap for a year when I was 18 called ‘Tapability’ ha ha and then went on to choreograph the local panto. I also have a guitar that I never really play but In my dreams I am as good as Jimi Hendrix. I never went to Uni or College I am completely self taught and guess I am a rubbish sort of entrepreneur really because I always seem to me skint. I love it here on cakes Decor everyone is so friendly and welcoming and I feel I have really found my place thanks everyone for the love.
