Can someone please help me with a recipe .I have an order for a cake with vanilla, chocolate, coffee and cream cheese flavours combinations, thanks.
I would make a simple syrup and add the coffee flavour and I would wet the vanilla and chocolate cake with syrup…and make a cream cheese filling to fill it..hope this helps

I like Enza’s idea. Another option would also be to add coffee to your chocolate cake. when making the batter. Coffee and chocolate go great together :]
Thanks Enza and You’ve Been Cupcaked for advice, I think I will do that. Question, when I make the chocolate cake do I switch all water with coffee or part? And how would I make coffee syrup? Do I add instant coffee or espresso coffee?
Hi Galyna I would add the coffee to the syrup. you can add espresso coffee or instant if your syrup is still hot…the recipe is easy…it’s always equal portion of water and sugar; 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar and 1tsp vanilla….bring water and sugar to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes…if you have instant coffee add it now so it will melt or use espresso…add your vanilla at the end…taste the syrup to determine how much coffee flavour you want!

when making chocolate coffee cake, I use coffee for all of the water/liquid. But you can always use less if you dont want it to be too strong :]
Thanks Enza and You’ve Been Cupcaked for the help , I will try to make a few small cakes using the different recipes for my family first (my husband and 3 children are my taste testers) and will use whichever one they like the most and thanks again for your help I really appreciate it.
Your welcome Galyna..I also test my recipes on my husband and kids..lol
