Disney's Belle

I have been asked to make a cake with a Belle figure. I must admit, am rather intimidated by this as don’t want to end up with one of those horror story faces. Has anyone got any tips please, would really appreciate it. Many thanks.

I haven’t any advice because I’d be equally terrified but you do gorgeous models, I have every faith in you Roo x

For me when I have to do a totally recognizable figure I try to make a figure where you can tell what it is but not have to be exact. Kind of like these drawings my friend found.

Thanks Mel, was a tough one and not without a lot of hiccups along the way.

Jennifer, I love them, I did something similar for my one direction cupcakes as just wanted a representation, I used manga cartoons for inspiration.

I felt like this with TInkerbell- although .. many smashed faces later .. I stuck to simple pearls and lashes .. she’s still pretty silly looking but trust me much more acceptable !:) PRIMA cakes plus has the right idea :)
