I’m so happy to finally be able to share the cake that I did for this collaboration with you all.
Gardens of the World is a “Chelsea Flower Show” Inspired International cake collaboration featuring 26 outstanding, award winning and celebrated cake artists from all over the world. Our common theme was “Gardens of the World” We have created sugar art celebrating the beauty of English, French, Italian, Japanese and Spanish Gardens.
I wanted my cake to be a bit intriguing whilst representing a classic English garden in bloom, with apple tree blossoms, pastel garden roses for bridal bouquets and leaping deer adding life to an otherwise still scene.

I also took inspiration from a song by Paul McCartney “English Tea”: “Miles and miles of English gardens, stretching past the willow tree”. A romantic garden is an English garden.
