Football themed cake for Finley who’s a huge Lionel Messi fan! I was particularly pleased with the ball because firstly I haven’t done one before and secondly I don’t have a ball tin so I had to carve the shape myself from a six inch cake, and I actually managed to get it round!! And I got all the pieces to fit together, a big relief!
This was all vanilla sponge with raspberry jam and milk chocolate ganache. The badges were edible images and the Messi figure was provided by Finley’s parents.
