Presenting…The Red Carpet Collaboration!

Red Carpet events are THE place to see the boldest and most stunning creations from the design industry. This collaboration is all about celebrating the genius behind the stitches and sketches by transforming fashion into cake!

My cake is inspired by a Giambattista Valli dress/suit worn by Penelope Cruz in 2014.

I love the simplicity of this dress, especially the stark contrast between the pale pink material and the black bow. For my design, I focused on the way the dress flowed and that contrast in colours.

This has been a fabulous collaboration and all the cake makers involved have done a wonderful job in their designs inspired by the fashion of the oscars!
