Using alcohol for baby shower cake

Hello all!

I am making several cakes for a baby shower and each one has several gold details. I typically do this with a bit of vodka mixed with luster dust to add the metalic look, but im a bit concerned about using alcohol in the decorating for a pregnant client.

I know the liquid evaporates but I am wondering if it is still safe for her to consume? I’ve tried alternatives such as extracts with less alcohol and even water, but nothing gives the same effect as the vodka. Any recommendations on things to try or opinions about whether this amount of alcohol is safe to consume? anything helps!
