You can just use your dresden tool for this. Drag it over your fondant..

I believe this cake was made by a member of this group Lina Veber. In the comments she mentions that she used a woodgrain impression mat as others had asked her the same question.

Looks like crepe paper. Beautiful. If I were you I’d travel to my homegoods DIY store and look for a linoleum tile to impress into the freshly rolled fondant.
I’ve also heard of a linen silicone rolling pin – I have one and it is small but that too would give you a hint of design like in the photo.
