Gumpaste Modelling

Gumpaste Faberge Egg

Made as a topper for a cake entry, Russian royal Romanov family. Tsar Nicholas and Tsarina Alexandra. The egg itself is gumpaste, covered in fondant when dry. Royal icing piping painted with gold luster dust. Edible images of Nicholas and Alexandra. Sitting in a real egg holder.
