which fondant do you use?

Just a little test for knowing which fondant to choose.
Since 1,5 years I’m using satin ice but lately I have the more and more diffeculties to get the fondant correctly on my cake.
Which fondant are you using?
Hope someone would like to give me some advice
Thank you & best regards

I used to use Satin Ice and I too started to have troubles with it. I use Fondx and love it. I do find it is a lot easier to roll and put on a cake if I roll it between vinyl seasoned with shortening.

I use Satin Ice and haven’t had any problems. I use “The Mat” for all my fondant that will be used for coverage.

I make my own marshmallow fondant using this recipe: http://artisancakecompany.com/recipe/the-best-marshmallow-fondant-recipe-ever/
So easy to make, and I never have any trouble with it! It tastes delicious too!

I’ve always used Wilton fondant for my hobby cakes, but it’s a bit pricey and probably not the best… it’s just what I’ve found locally.

I’d be interested in knowing what types of fondant you all use too, or if you make it yourself.

I actually used to make my own. I really didn’t like the mess, so now I use Satin Ice.

I either make my own mmf or in a pinch I use Fondarrific because the taste is decent and it is easy to work with. I also like that I can get it quickly using Amazon Prime.

I use Fondant (sugarpaste in the UK) from sugar pastedirect.co.uk, they ship all over the world.
