Sofia the first Too much purple!
Sofia the First cakes are just all too purple. I am really lacking enthusiasm for this cake I want to do her in a garden with flowers or something with some green!! But the client likes the purple, and white yawn, and now they are wanting it a day earlier (wed) and I haven’t started it yet. I will have to sneak some pink in somehow. Must stop procrastinating, do you ever get cakes you don’t want to do? Please help if you have any genius ideas to get me going.

Put Sophia in the cakes “search bar”… there are a few, where the colour is broken up with pink or green… might inspire you!

I know I have had cakes that I don’t want to do …. it is like swimming just dive in an hold your breath.. and when you come up for air you will be all done :-D and I agree with Julez about using the search bar .. I am sure it will be awesome <3 <3 <3

Perhaps wear rose coloured glasses while working? Hahaha! Sorry I’m not much help LOL if the customer wants, the customer usually gets….. and all I can do is send positive wishes to help you get through the purple process!!!!!! :) :) :)

It is difficult to get motivated on a cake sometimes. Most of us have to do a cake we don’t enjoy at some point or other, so we fully understand your plight! I am sure you will love it when it’s finished, especially when you see the happy customer :) . looking forward to seeing the outcome! :) I am sure it will be FABULOUS and PURPLE! ♥ ♥ x

Hahaha, I smiled when I read your message…. Oh yes, I also get cakes I don’t like doing and can say I recently groaned through making my frozen cake, it was to spec and it was straight after Cakes International… So I was very tired as well.
I did it , the client loved it… And I “let it go” hahahaha…. Try and have fun with it… And love what Cakes Decor Cairns says…. Wear tinted glasses…

Purple cake all done but my hands remain purple! The outcome wasn’t too bad except for a slightly wonky left eye. It’s up now if you want to check out the purple post. xx
