Help please! How would I do this geometric pattern?

Hi everyone!

I’ve been ‘stalking’ this website for a while now but haven’t posted before. I love seeing everyone’s creations and reading the tips and tricks.

I was wondering if anyone could please help me with the pattern on the top and bottom tiers of this cake. I’ve been asked to recreate it on a wedding cake next month but I’m not really sure how it’s been done. Would really appreciate any ideas!

Thanks heaps,
Amy

Amy do you happen to have a better photo of another similar cake. You can’t really see the pattern you are asking help with.

Yes Jennifer, I was thinking the same thing….you can’t see the pattern well enough to advise.

You must never limit your challenges, instead you must challenge your limits

A bit of detective work … I think it’s maybe this cake … ? Looks like it’s stencil rather than onlay … https://pic.cakesdecor.com/o/images_geey4u.jpg
