Spring is coming on the East Coast of Canada! We were inspired to create this birdhouse cake for a wonderful lady who was turning 80 years old. The original design is from Karen Portaleo – an incredible cake designer who released her design in 2010. We had a lot of fund with our little version and, naturally my daughter Maddie made the little birds. I wanted them to be really glamed up, but she had enough restraint for both of us!
