This was a Naval themed wedding cake for my newest oldest friends Sir Barry and Georgina who met in the retirement home where I work and found love again in their 80’s! It was an honor to do their cake. The semaphore flags up the side read their names, the Anchor and leaves design are taken from his uniform hat and are covered in real gold leaf! And the sailors knot signifies tying the knot.
