This is my creation for “ Music around the world – Cake Notes ” Collaboration.
I chose “ Rhythm of Thailand. “ as my inspiration because I’m Thai and I wanted to do this creation for my dad who just passed away. My dad love music and I hope when my dad look at me from the sky somewhere , he will be proud of me…
Traditional Thai musical instruments are the musical instruments used in the traditional and classical music of Thailand.
Saw U - lower two-string fiddle with a coconut shell body; used in classical music.
Khong wong lek - higher gong circle; comprises many small tuned bossed gongs mounted in a rattan frame.
Ranat ek - higher xylophone, with bars usually made of hardwood.
Khong mon - set of many small tuned bossed gongs arranged in vertical curved frame; usually primarily in funeral music.
