Bety'Sugarland by Elisabete Caseiro

Hello!

I'm Elisabete Caseiro and I'm from Portugal. I'm a Chemical Engineer and used to teach Physics and Chemistry.

I allways made all the decoration for my kids birthday parties in order to make them very special. And that was how I started decorating cakes and other sweets like cupcakes, cookies, gelatines, and so on. I love thematic tables of sweets.

I fell in love with cake decoration and now I’m a full time cake decorator who loves to do modeling, sculpted and gravity defying cakes and also love to paint. I also teach these skills.

I love challenges and I entered several shows and competitions both national and international, having won some important prizes, from which 5 gold awards at Cake International, England.
Currently, I have my own cake studio, “Bety’Sugarland - Cake Design by Elisabete Caseiro”, in Lisbon, where I teach and make my cakes.

I was one of the tutors at Professional Academy of Cake Design (Portugal) for the last 5 years.

I have been published in several Portuguese and international Cake Art Magazines and I’m co-author of the book “O Admirável Mundo do Cake Design”.
