Naked cakes are very simplistic but can be really beautiful. Here is one I made for a friend of mine who celebrated her 30th birthday this past week. Stunning flowers (roses, blushing bride (my absolute favourite) and baby’s breath adorned the cake with their beauty. 4 layers of vanilla sponge with lemon curd flavoured buttercream icing between the layers.
