I wasn’t too sure what to name this cake on here as I always name my wedding cakes after the brides usually but seeing as the cake was mostly all white I thought it kind of was appropriate.
Steph (my bride) originally was having ruffles but decided 6 weeks beforehand to have the bubble border and the ‘heart topper’.

Some of you may recognise the topper and bubble border from my Gold award winning design cake back in November last year…………….. the ruffles strips take forever and I was supposed to start on the topper a few weeks before but my helper had been off sick. So cut a long story short I was up till the wee hours in the morning a few days before the wedding and the topper was eventually finished just after 9am on the Saturday of the wedding (cutting it fine I know!)
The things we put ourselves through…. I broke a few of the strips a few times (I’m such a div and tiredness had well n truly set in) I had a mad week of cakes I had been dreading for weeks so this was all I was needing.
Anyway topper travelled on foot well between my feet on way to venue whilst hubby drove (telling him to be careful or I was gonna kill him!) Get to the venue, set cake up and ta – dah
