I was very excited to be asked to contribute to the Cake Masters Color Boom edition. I love working with bold colors so I knew this project was for me. I was assigned the color purple for the Ombre Collection. Here is my modern interpretation of ombre using marbling, tulip petal ruffles and a bit of silver splatter.
I used Satin Ice purple, lavender and white fondant. I also provided a simple tutorial for the tulip petal ruffles. This was a fun project and the first time I used the marble technique as a main feature. Hope you enjoy.
