Inspired on a Chinese antique print I made this cookie totally decorated with Royal Icing (13 cm).
This cookie reminds me of my times in Hong Kong and frequent trips to Mainland China, when I was first introduced to this milenar culture.
As explained by a friend (Cookie Queens), the meaning for the 9 fishes is,

“In Chinese, nine sounds the same as the word “permanence”, and Koi sounds like “benefit”. Such images can bring fortunes to a life time!"
