Last week I made this cake for a lady who likes the arts, I was asked to include theatre and dance and told she was particularly interested in tap. So I came up with this, all vanilla sponge and buttercream with strawberry jam. I aimed mostly for the theatre feel with the comedy/tragedy masks, stage curtains and end of performance red rose thrown onto the boards, with the tap shoes as the main decorative feature. There was a token nod to cinema with the name on the film reel.
I really like how this turned out! :)
