The most challenging cake I’ve made to date! A massive four tier showstopper that stood 2.5 feet tall, with a spiral carved into the sides and topped with a huge glittery heart and an edible sculpture of Betty Boop. The cake was carved from 6" deep 12", 10" and 8" vanilla rounds that tapered into a 6" platform for the chocolate orange marble cake top tier which Betty sat upon. Betty herself was sculpted from sugarpaste. The piano keyboard was made from home pastillage – the first time I’ve used it! A massive challenge that I could not have pulled off without mathematical assistance and morale support from Mr CakeyCake. Thank you Husband x
