This cake was made for my cousin Lian and hubby to be James . You will know if you saw my post in cakes and sweet decorating on Facebook that there was a little hitch with this cake ! As I inserted the flower pic into the two layers the icing at the sides split vertically ( cue general panic and nausea ) after some very kind words of advice and encouragement I patched with royal icing and used a strategic piece of fern to cover and no one was any the wiser ( cue utter relief!!) the lower tier was a dummy as cake was for a smaller wedding then fruit , vanilla and chocolate at the top .
