Boozy fruit cake ‘basket’ and fruit cake ‘balls of wool’ with sugar flowers. For a keen knitter’s 80th birthday. I enjoyed the variety in this cake and the lady who ordered it for her mother cried with joy when she saw it! Nothing makes me happier than a happy client. I had been worried because I had moved away from the agreed design finish and feared she might not like the changes (albeit small ones). I could not have been more wrong. The client’s design theme was inspired by a beautiful knitting cake she had seen on the net, made by Eat, Cake, Party.

Fiona!!!! I´m speechless…. It´s an amazing cake!!! All is perfect!!! So lovable!!
The flowers are perfect and delicate, the wool is perfect, the net is incredible, the tablecloth is amazing the colours are beautiful!!! It´s a super WOW from me
